What is VBS?

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun, week-long program where kids enjoy games, music, crafts, and interactive Bible stories in a safe and welcoming environment.

No church experience is needed - everyone is welcome!

Every day is designed to be fun, meaningful, and something your child will look forward to!

VBS FAQs

  • No! VBS is open to everyone!

  • No, VBS at Mountain View Lutheran is completely free!

  • Comfortable clothes (that can handle crafts and play!)

    A water bottle (labeled with their name)

  • We group kids depending on what grade they will be going into for the upcoming school year. If your child’s friends are in the same grade, let us know and we’ll do our best to get them in the same group!

  • Please notate all allergies and/or medical concerns on the registration form. We will reach out to you if we have questions or concerns.

    We will be providing Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Goldfish, and Capri Suns during snack time each day, as well as, popcorn during movie times. If your child is unable to consume any of those items we ask that you let us know and provide an appropriate, nut-free alternative for them to enjoy.

We know trying something new can feel like a big step - our goal is to make your child feel
comfortable, included, safe, and excited from day one.

Your Child’s Safety Matters

Secure Campus
Our campus is closed during VBS hours. Doors are locked once programming begins and remain locked until pick-up time.

Supervised at All Times
All activities are led by trusted adults, with volunteers supported and overseen every step of the way.

Age-Appropriate Groups
Children are grouped by grade level to ensure a safe, comfortable, and engaging experience.

Safe Pick-Up Process
For your child’s protection, a valid ID is required at pick-up.

Our goal is simple: to provide a fun, welcoming, and secure environment where your child can learn, grow, and have an amazing week.

If you have any questions or specific concerns, we’re always happy to connect with you.

We take your child’s safety seriously so you can feel confident and at ease throughout the week.
