Today at Mountain view

worship . study . serve

A lot is going on at Mountain View Lutheran Church & School, and we would love to have you be a part of it. Take part in a Bible study, come to a social event, or join us to receive God's gifts in worship. Our latest Bible studies are listed below, and upcoming events can be found on our CALENDAR. You can also find out more about how to get involved on a regular basis on our GET INVOLVED page.

Summer Bible Studies

Summer is here! The heat ramps up, the kids are off school, and many a family trip is happening to beat the heat. Being out of town and coming back after a week or two has passed makes it challenging for people to feel engaged in a week to week Bible study… but we want you involved in study! This summer, Pastor is accepting topic requests (in between his own travels) that can be handled in one-week, bite sized pieces. That way, if you miss a week due to being out of town, come on back to Bible study because each week we’ll be exploring a new question!

Membership is not a required part of worshipping at Mountain View Lutheran Church and we welcome anyone to be here with us whether or not they take that step. However, we would love to have you join us as members of the church. The On Ramp is a group led by Pastor Derek, teaching the basics of our beliefs, answering questions, and encouraging growth in our walk as disciples of Jesus Christ. Those in the On Ramp group will have the option to become members but there is no expectation – it is a safe place to learn, wrestle, question and struggle. Also, members of another Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod may join us by calling the church office to transfer their membership. Either way, get in touch via phone or email. We would love to have you walk alongside us in our ministry here at Mountain View.

let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

OUR GOAL at Mountain View is to bring the saving grace of Christ to His people. Through weekly worship, Bible studies, family activities, Sunday School, fellowship, outreach, and our preschool and elementary school, we aim to teach people about their Savior and surround them with a Cloud of Witnesses - a family of believers to love, support, and encourage them in their faith walk. Together, we enjoy the freedom we have in Christ and the joy found in the knowledge of our eternal salvation. Together we are connecting, caring, and sharing through Christ.
