Take part in a Bible study, come to a social event, or join us to receive God's gifts in worship. Our latest Bible studies are listed below, and upcoming events can be found on our CALENDAR. You can also find out more about how to get involved on a regular basis on our GET INVOLVED page.
CURRENT VIRTUAL BIBLE STUDIES
Join us for virtual coffee hour at 9, and Bible Study at 9:30 am every Sunday, from the comfort of your couch!
Go to the church home page on Sunday mornings. In the WORSHIP WITH US section, there will be a link for Bible Study. Click the link, and join in on the study. A downloadable handout will also be made available by the group leader, and available through the emailed church newsletter.
Martin Luther's Small Catechism is not just for teaching children. We can all benefit from exploring the basic questions - who is God? How does salvation work? How does that affect my life?
This week's set of devotions are available here, and online discussion topics will be posted on our Facebook page every morning for the duration of the study.
You can get a copy of the Catechism from these sources:
Join us on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm

Location: Your house!
Contact Katie Wiltse to get the link. Once she has emailed or texted is to you, simply click to join in!
What are some historical practices of the Church to help us anchor and grow in faith? Join a group of women as we study William Weedon's Thank, Praise, Serve, and Obey: Recover the Joys of Piety. You do not need the book to join in our discussion, we will watch a video or two to jump start our conversations. Even if you have not been joining us, start any time, as remaining connected to each other and in God's Word is vital, especially in these unprecedented times.
Come for Bible Study related to the Formula of Concord, and share your morning breakfast or coffee with the guys in a relaxed and informal fellowship.
Join us on the second Sunday of each month from 3:00-5:00pm
Location: Contact us for virtual meeting info
Grades 6-12 are welcome!
Membership is not a required part of worshipping at Mountain View Lutheran Church and we welcome anyone to be here with us whether or not they take that step. However, we would love to have you join us as members of the church. The On Ramp is a group led by Pastor Derek, teaching the basics of our beliefs, answering questions, and encouraging growth in our walk as disciples of Jesus Christ. Those in the On Ramp group will have the option to become members but there is no expectation – it is a safe place to learn, wrestle, question and struggle. Also, members of another Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod may join us by calling the church office to transfer their membership. Either way, get in touch via phone or email. We would love to have you walk alongside us in our ministry here at Mountain View.

Mountain View Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
OUR GOAL at Mountain View is to bring the saving grace of Christ to His people. Through weekly worship, small group studies, family activities, youth group, Sunday School, and fellowship, we aim to teach people about their Savior and surround them with a Cloud of Witnesses - a family of believers to love, support, and encourage them in their faith walk. Together, we enjoy the freedom we have in Christ and the joy found in the knowledge of our eternal salvation.
