Please mark your name on the following items: 1 – Small School Box (fits in desk to hold crayons, pencils, and erasers) 4”x12” or 6 Qt. Plastic Storage Box (to hold art supplies) 2 – Large Erasers 1 – Bottle of Elmer’s Glue 4 – Glue Sticks 8 or 16 count – Crayola Markers Box of Colored Pencils Scissors 12” Plastic Ruler (w/IN. & CM.) We will organize them the first day of school. Students will be responsible for bringing their binders home each night and bringing them back to school each day. Students will keep their unfinished class work, as well as any class notes and extra notebook paper, in the appropriate corresponding folders. They will have a folder for each subject. The 7th folder will be used for homework and the 8th for mail. At the end of each day, students will be responsible for checking their in-class mailbox and putting their mail (graded papers and parent notes) in their Mail folder. Students will be responsible for giving parents their mail each night. They should place their finished homework in the Homework folder, ready to turn-in the following class period. *Students will need a simple calculator which will be used later in the year. We will practice using the calculator to check multiplication and division. Calculators are not to be used for daily homework or tests. (It is fine to check homework with a parent using a calculator, but students should always work every problem for themselves without the use of a calculator, unless the lesson calls for it.) |
