“Connecting People Through Christ” Living the Mission God Has Set Before Us In the classroom students enjoy a close relationship with their peers and teachers. They are encouraged by our staff to grow in their faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Outside the classroom students have opportunities to benefit from a host of extracurricular activities. During this time they develop relationships with staff members and students that otherwise they may not interact with. On the field students are able to participate in a variety of sports. During this time they learn the value of Christian sportsmanship and what it means to share your faith through sports. In church all students participate in chapel every week. During this time they learn what it means to worship, the importance of song and prayer, and how that intersects with the growth of their faith in our Savior. In the halls parents and teachers develop relationships based on Godly principles of cooperation, respect, love, and forgiveness. Mountain View Lutheran School provides a quality Christian education from a Lutheran perspective, where children are nurtured to use their individual God-given gifts in service to their Lord. |
