Missions In accordance with Jesus words in
Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the end of the earth," we support the following
missions and
organizations:
Public Relations Most
often
around
Christmas

Easter,

form of communication.
Lutheran Women's Missionary League (L.W.M.L.)
The
mission
of
the
Lutheran
Women’s Missionary League is to assist each
woman of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in affirming her
relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her
gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
Mountain View
Lutheran LWML started meeting a short time after the charter of
Mountain View Lutheran Church in 1957. It is a place for women to
come together for Bible study, meetings, and to fellowship with other
sisters in Christ. Currently there are twenty-five to thirty
women who meet monthly alternating between the second Saturday and
second Tuesday of each
month to conduct society business, participate in
Bible study, and enjoy fellowship. The League has contributed to
several Mountain View Church and School mission projects throughout the
years. The mighty Mites, which are collected, fund many mission
projects in our community, the nation, as well as the world. All
women who attend Mountain View Lutheran Church are members of LWML and
we welcome each of you to join us as we – “Serve the Lord with
Gladness” Psalm 100:2
Our Goal
Statement: “To unite all women of Mountain View Lutheran Church with
Christian Fellowship, enabling each woman to grow in her faith, serve
the Lord with her God-given talents, and reach our to her family,
community, and the world. Primary target: all women who attend
Mt. View.”
