| Fellowship O.W.L.S. Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors (50+) Meetings are on the 4th Sunday, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm, and begin with a luncheon provided by the members and followed by a program. Volunteer donations are accepted and used toward contributions to the organization providing the program or other special cause. Monies have been given for many church involved projects such as the stained glass window, the cross, and hymnals. OWLS provides greeters and sponsors for the coffee hour on the 1st Sunday of each month. They will start their meetings again on August 29, 2010. |

Youth groups meet Sundays from 3:00pm to 4:30pm during the school year, for a variety of activities including free play, prayer, games, bible studies, special outings, servant projects, and general good times.
High School Youth meet in the Youth Room

National Youth Gathering 2010 Update
16 High School students and 4 adults are currently registered to attend the 2010 NYG in New Orleans, Friday July 16th through Wednesday July 21st.
To the congregation of Mt. View from the YOUTH GROUPS:
We are SO EXCITED and SO GRATEFUL for the encouragement and support of this congregation as we raise money for our District and National Youth Gatherings! Thank you for your generous patronage at CAR WASHES and BAKE SALES every month. We’ve averaged about $800 combined income from these efforts and there will be others coming up to tell you about. We’re also grateful for your donations of cans and particularly to Wayne Hall for faithfully recycling them and donating proceeds to our youth fund. God bless you all.

Coffee Fellowship
Share some snacks and beverages with others who worship and learn at Mountain View Lutheran Church. This time is hosted by various groups and individuals from the church and is held between the end of the 8am Worship service and the beginning of the 9:30am Education Hour.
Potlucks
Special occasions are celebrated as a family here at Mountain View, and everyone is encouraged to take part in those celebrations by sharing a favorite dish. Such occasions include installations of new church or school positions, new members, anniversaries of church events, dedications, or farewells.

The last dinner theater was a mystery presentation, "Murder, Mayhem, and Marshmallow Salad," performed in Fall 2008 on Mountain View's own Activity Center stage.

Fellowship Committee
The Fellowship committee with its mission statement-- “Connecting people to Christ”--brings congregation members together in social fellowship. It is responsible for and seeks volunteers to provide Sunday coffee hour, the soup suppers before Ash Wednesday and Advent services and the brunch for new members. Annual events as Easter breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner or any special social events are coordinated through this committee.
